Maria has been dedicated to Yoga practice for over a decade, and its profound philosophy and practical aspects have truly illuminated her life!

She started her yoga journey by initially practising yoga asanas and studying ancient scriptures. Yet, she soon realised that these disciplines alone couldn't offer the profound liberation she sought. Consequently, she embarked on a transformative six-year sojourn to India to conduct in-depth research.

During her time in India, Maria dedicated herself to various pursuits. She served in an Ashram, taking care of stray Dogs, studied classical Indian Music and the ancient science of Vedic Astrology. It was during this immersive experience that she came to a realisation – the interconnectedness of everything. She learned the importance of harmonising with the natural flow of existence rather than resisting it.

She believes that yoga practice extends well beyond the confines of the yoga mat and physical asanas. Yet, it's within the realm of Asana practice that one can catch a glimpse of profound stillness and access the concealed reality obscured by the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yoga asanas serve as a tool for aligning the body, fostering equilibrium, and mastering the mind. They provide the opportunity to gain insight into one's own struggles and discomfort on the mat while learning not to identify with them.

Strength and flexibility naturally develop as byproducts of asana practice, but its core purpose lies in the journey of self-discovery. Through this practice, you will get closer to realising your true nature.

Welcome to your practice, welcome HOME!
